Richard Owen Surgical Society (ROS) – Lancaster Medical School
The Richard Owen Society (ROS) is the official surgical society of Lancaster Medical School, recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The society is dedicated to supporting medical students with an interest in surgery through teaching, skills development, research opportunities, and career guidance.
BRIDGES is pleased to collaborate with ROS to enhance student engagement in surgery across the North West. This partnership aims to provide Lancaster medical students with access to surgical teaching, academic projects, and networking opportunities with clinicians at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust (ELHT).
ROS will work closely with BRIDGES to promote events, facilitate student involvement in research and education initiatives, and support early exposure to surgical careers.
