Research Investigators: Mr Michael Dasa, Mrs Donna Shrestha, Mr Joel Lambert, Mr Daren Subar

Conducting scientific research is a fundamental requirement of postgraduate medical education and essential for career progression in all surgical fields. However, junior doctors often find it challenging to gain research experience and conduct research throughout their careers. This information, however, is not well elicited in existing national training surveys.

Aim : To explore perceptions and barriers to research among current and aspiring surgical trainees.

We want to hear from you if you are:

1) Seeking to pursue a career in Surgery

2) Any grade of junior doctor including FY1-ST8 and non trainees

The survey takes no longer than two minutes and collects no personal or identifiable data.

Thank you for your paritcipation
